The citizen historian’s method

Evidence-driven discovery aims to test, measure & analyse observed phemonena for clues to the roots of historical puzzles. My goal, always, is to create tests for reproducible evidence: Thoroughly research * Be skeptical * Observe puzzling clues * Collect measurable data * Develop If/Then hypotheses * Propose test methods * Design & execute experiments * Analyse the results for supporting & contradictory evidence * & Repeat.
