Pseudoscience’s strange enjoyability

I love pseudoscience. It leavens the day somehow.

Whilst doing geological research (looking at whether something I’m investigating in BC is an impact structure or eroded geologic dome (prob the latter), went looking for dome examples… And then came across someone who is claiming the Richat Structure in Mauritania is …(wait for it)…Atlantis! Simply by looking at it. Without any study of the topography, underlying geomorphology, geologist reports and citations, etc., etc., etc. Made my day !
